Sexual Assault Awareness Should Be Your Concern
Ignorance is not bliss, especially when referring to the topic of sexual assault. Every day, thousands of women and men are victims of sexual violence, many of them on college and university campuses. We are working to reverse this disturbing trend.
A Unique Program
S.A.A.F.E. PROGRAM is an unlike any other program at a higher learning institution in that it focuses on appropriate films dealing with sexual assault awareness. Although our public service organization is based in the Town of Southampton, New York, we will be making presentations annually at colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada.
Most of the film expositions are conducted during the month of April, which is designated as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in the United States. Additionally, we provide resource materials that are recognized and approved for campus groups and social organizations with the endorsement of college and university administrators.
Involvement Is Encouraged
By raising your awareness, you prevent the possibility of becoming a guilty party or a victim. We invite campus groups, including sororities, fraternities, and other social organizations to become charter members of our S.A.A.F.E. Program. After becoming a member, your group will be able to host film expositions in conjunction with forums, meetings, and seminars that highlight the critical need for sexual assault awareness by members of the higher learning community.
